I would think a drop of super glue would hold easily along with the magnetic attraction.
But does the metal washer need to touch the metal pole piece in order for this to be effective? Would the super glue act as an insulator?

I'm afraid the problem hasn't be solved.

I think the problem is the toaster. When I have the toaster in solo position I can clearly hear more bass and output on the A and D than on the E and G-string.

That is unusual as all the toasters I have are very even. :?

Puzzling, to say the very least :o Maybe a new set of strings will get rid of the problem?...

Maybe..

Do opposites of "dead spots" exists? The most bass and output is when I play the 5th and 7th fret on the A-string.

Yes, they are called Wolf tones, usually they will show up on acoustic instruments moreso than solidbody electrics but I see no reason that couldn't be, though.

Maybe I will try a different brand of strings.
Which are soundwise very similar to Rotosound Stainless Steels?

I've set the strings a bit higher from the fretboard and the difference in output between strings is already reduced.

Is it possible to lower the toaster? I tried before, but the pickup gets a bit loose when I adjust the screws..

One tiny coil spring fitted over each height adjust screw (between the pickguard and the toaster cover) should work nicely.
