The Rickenbacker 3000/3001-basses
Anyone who have some info on these basses? Descriptions etc.?

Yeah. I have a '78 3001 that I bought in a pawn shop in '93 for $350. They only made them from 75-84 & the 3000 was the short scale version. All are bolt ons with a single pickup. I believe they were intended as a slightly more affordable Rickenbacker line. A '76 3000 just sold on eBay for about $515.
I love my 3001. It actually has a fuller & fatter tone than my 4001 or 4003. Heavy as hell though. I've played it live forever & recorded with it about 2 years ago...dry, straight in - beautiful results!
