It should cost the same as Italy (or thereabouts) as they're both mainland Europe within the EU. Shipping costs in general from the US to just about anywhere have been on the rise, so you may want to get an indicative quote. A lot of folk have been burnt on out-of-date estimates over the last 18 months.

I just shipped to Norway last week. It was $288 and change. That included insurance.

I ship overseas nearly every day.....not necessarily guitars. Take the extra time to call.....you CAN negotiate with these people sometimes. I usually make at least 3 calls.....UPS, FedX,DHL are my main 3. If you think you're going to do this more than once...go ahead and create an account number with one of these carrriers. I find FedX to be the most amenable. If you tell them you are going to be shipping occasionally, they will provide discount rates. Even if you dont go that far and just want to make this one time shipment.......CALL......speak with a customer service agent......dont be afraid to ASK for a better rate!
