Well it’s been a 107 days since my last Rick purchase (4004Cii MG) and today I pulled the trigger on a new, yes new, 4003S/5 Black on Black. Oh Yeah!

Haha, I saw that black on black 4003S/5 listed on Mike Parks yesterday and I thought to myself "man that's gonna go fast." Sure enough. ;)

Can wait to get my hands on this one! The 48 hr acclimation period is going to be rough. Had no intention of buying a new bass. I’m always looking to see what’s out there and I find this and the wife is cool about it – how about that! Couldn’t let it go when I saw it yesterday! I was just surprised no one else from here (Jeff) jumped on it. Has to be one of the last 4003S/5’s to come out. Black on Black! I’m still pinching myself!!!!!

Will most likely be selling my 4003 JG w/Toaster to subsidize. Let me know if you’re interested!

cheers

If it doesn't work out, You'll be the first to know Jeff. I know how you feel about those S/5's! I'm considering (after a while) changing the strings from BEADG to EADGC. Any thoughts on that?

Go with the low B Andy. I had an Ibanez a few years ago strung with the high C and really didnt care for it. Unless your into alot of chording I'd go with the low B.
