Wouldn't look so bad if'n they cut that upper eyestalk off at the shoulder. And got rid of that extra string.

If you don't like the number of strings on that model perhaps the doubleneck on the Ritter site would be of interest to you. It has one string per neck. One fretted and one fretless.

I'll take any Fender copy over that hideous organic shape. That thing makes a 3000 Series bass look elegant.

...looks like something Salvador Dali would dream up...

I would have nightmares about one of these melting away as I played!

Well hell, as long as crazy-rust plays one.....(pic withheld out of respect for Peter and his fine forum).

But...if you go to Ted's link and click on "artist's", search a little, you'll see.

nattiep wrote:Those basses are very unique. Not ugly, that one with the 13 bolts has that neat splash for the bottom horn. Not everything has to look vintage nowadays guys, get over it.
That 'splash' bottom horn makes the whole bass look a bit like a tropical fish to my eyes. Gorgeous craftsmanship and I love the looks, but it's too fancy looking for the indie/rock gigs that I play.
