Gibson SG Bass Worn Brown

I got one of these basses recently. I ordered it off guitarcenter.com and it is a dream bass. I am a big fan of Mike Watt and The Minutemen and I always love the way his bass sounds. So, I got me one and it is a badass. I love it.

That looks really cool! I have the Epiphone version, but it has a34 inch scale, and while it sounds great, my fingers sometimes wish it was a short scale. Nice catch!

I played one of thse a couple times at my local GC, very nice feel for a short scale bass, and it does sound very nice especially with the neck PU rolled back a bit.

I've always liked the SG bass. The short scale feels comfortable, and I like its quirky bridge and crazy neck pickup. Plus, the bassist from the Zombies used one:
