Would Robin's Egg Blue in an eggshell finish be a better seller then?
Only if it's applied with a paint brush made of Robin feathers and a handle made of beaks.

The seller has probably meant the $9.95 to be a starting price (he mentions no reserve), and by mistake put it as a BIN price. The buyer will probably get his $9.95 refunded and the bass will be relisted.

Nah, just refin them yourself using house paint and glitter. be sure to paint over the original finish. that way the resale stays up.
I'd go for Krylon - - No Runs, No Drips, No Errors...

Sure, $9.95 seems like a good deal.

But he wants a $45 shipping charge! Jeez, avoid that one like the plague! :P

I shipped a guitar to California from Indiana last week and it was $56 for UPS Ground with insurance. And that wasn't a bass in a case, it was a strat in a gig bag with a bunch of packing material. $45 is more than fair.
