Is there any chance that CB will be brought back as an option or standard feature on a 4003?

Re: Full width inlays on new basses?
I think checkered binding is seen as a "premium" feature, so its unlikely that we'll see it offered on the 4003. Now if RIC did decide to produce something like the oft discussed "4001 V68", they could simply take a standard 4003, and add CB, horseshow pickup, vintage bridge and plexi TRC. In my opinion, this would be more likely than CB showing up on the 4003.

But wouldn't "V69" sound cooler"?

I can't say I am much of a fan of the full width inlays.

But I think that answer shows they have thought/are thinking of ways to improve on the time it would take.sloop_john_b wrote:anoukane wrote:Is there any chance that CB will be brought back as an option or standard feature on a 4003?RIC_FACTORY wrote: No checkered binding basses on the horizon, sorry. Anyone want to go into the business of making high quality binding material of white with CB?!
