It appears the guy doing the guards at certain times might have had a viewing problem following the contour of the body!

Andy, extra guilty of over-obsessing, since your greeny was the the one I obsessed over to shape my new guard!
(I actually had to shave off a bit more right in the "trouble area" as it didn't quite follow the curve as it came...)

After a few years of neglect I had some work done. The saddle was sagging, it needed to be intonated, and the truss rods needed adjusting. I then installed gold hardware and put flats on and fell in love with her all over again.

If you'd described that gold-trim v63 I would have thought it was tacky, but somehow it totally works.
