Forumite on TV
I just saw Mike Gutierrez on Antiques Roadshow (San Antonio) evaluating some artographed Buddy Holly memorabilia. I know he's been involved with the show for a while but it was the first time I caught him in an episode.
Hi Mike!
Hi Mike!

I haven't seen the taped episode yet. Was it any good?

Re: Forumite on TV
I was actually working around the house when it was on but heard your voice and since I talked to ya' on the phone recently it caught my attention so I only saw the last portion of your segment but that looked good.
I enjoy all of the episodes unless clown memorabilia is discussed......then I know I'm destined for nightmares!

Ha! Good one!
I think this link for the appraisal will work. To the right is "Appraisal Video" and you can choose Quick Time or Window Media Player:

Cool.
Way to go Mike. I had no idea. You are an honest to goodness celebrity.

Yeah, way to go Mike! Comfortable on camera, or so it comes off, and that is not easy to do. Kudos!

Re: Forumite on TV
Cool Mike..the lady had a great story to tell...
Re: Forumite on TV
Thanks for the nice words, guys!
The lady subsequently consigned the signed program which ends tomorrow-- what a story!

Diane was just yelling for me to come quick.
Didn't know what was up. I got her as soon as I could...there was Mike on Antiques Road Show appraising a (sorry, no Rick content) Carter-Mondale affidavit signed by Jimmy Carter.
Good to see you again, Mike!

Ha! Funny Joey! I was thinking of that appraisal from 3 years ago today while driving back from Las Vegas. Warning: A Rick content Roadshow segment will air next year with me and John Hall from Palm Springs!

Diane will be on the look out for that, Mike! Antiques Roadshow is one of her favorite TV shows.
