F-holes in early 80s 320s

Post by houblues »

What's the story with why some early 80s 320s have F-holes and others don't? Is there a series I am missing or something?

F soundholes were still a common feature in the shortscale 3 series Rics of the 70's and early 80's. Solidtop models were made side by side, and you can find examples of either type popping up from time to time.

Not that there are huge numbers from the 70's and early 80's of either type out there, but 320's are what you tend to see.
