lots of recent bass sales

is it just me or is there a big influx of basses on ebay lately? people needing money?

Craigslist, too -- and I'm mostly looking at higher end stuff like Ricks and Stingrays. A decent amount of rare pieces, too. It's tax time. I think that's having more of an effect than the economy.

I've too have noticed there are a lot of both Rick basses and guitars showing up in the last month or so.

Tax time, too. Them's that owe need cash. A good time to shop for those more economically comfortable.

I do not think I would ever be in such dire straights that I would have to sell my Ric..........

Sold a Fender in the 80's for some drug money but that was just a P bass
