Nah, I'm not worried about the naysayers, as they are rightfully entitled to their opinions about things. No way can you make someone like something that isn't appealing to them. In fact, getting feedback of the positive and negative sides gives me valuable insight into what Rickenbacker fans like and dislike.

I just enjoy doin' what I'm doin' :-) I'm sure that Paul can pretty closely relate to what I was referring to in a previous post about having creative license. After all you've all seen his work. I really love doing the unique stuff, but also pulling things together to address our backlog is a day to day challenge that I enjoy as well, and we are definitely making inroads on that. Fortunately I get to do both.

There's some pretty cool stuff waiting in the wings, you're seeing some of it now with the inlay changes, and we've got some finish stuff coming soon that's gonna make some jaws drop. That's all I'm gonna say about THAT. ;-)

No!!!!!!!!! With new inlays and a tasteful green, I would be forced to buy another bass. Please don't condemn me to the fate of convincing my wife I have to have another one.

Eric: That for your comments about some "behind the scene" work at the RIC Factory. It is always great to see the creative juices flow. Your posts have given all of us something to think about. Hearing from the Factory is exciting. Long may it continue.

Can't wait to see what's in store for the Rics over the next few months as hopefully more revelations will be made about improvements and changes.

HAHAHAHA....

Me too, Scotty!

I certainly don't need another Ric right now, but the prospect of some new variations in color and style is exciting.... :D

How about this? RIC could install a few cameras throughout the factory. We could all log in and watch the instruments being built. Sounds funny but I bet we'd all be watching.......and I'm sure that JH/BH are rolling their eyes and wishing that we'd get a life, lol.

If you could see what our cameras see, JW, the only thing you would watch is me wearing a groove into the factory floor circumnavigating the joint all day.

Oh, no green. Never, no how, no way. Loud and clear so people on other boards hear this announcement. I have been known to change my mind though!

What IS a tasteful green, anyway?

I'm imagining Dr. Seuss might have an idea...
