Those of you with the Rick Resource Calendar, time to turn the page to . . .

Aaaah! April! What a swell photo!

For those who don't have the calendar (FOOLS, I say!), here's what you're missing:

Me too; I probably couldn't make a Baja out of the bass  :P

That's gorgeous! My first car, a `67 VW Squareback, was that color. I'd completely forgotten. So, the VW color is the same color as Blue Boy, yes? Is it also the same color as Fender's Sonic Blue?

Actually, it's something wrong with my eyes/brain-colorblindness most likely.

Man, I LOVE that color! A vintage guard, TRC and knobs would make it perfect!

Ouch, that's tempting. I'm unemployed at the moment, and taxes are coming up. Can I trade my MG 381V69/6 for it?

Wait, are you pulling my leg about the finish since I'm having trouble telling the differnce? Does the 381 really have a Blue Boy finish? I'm confused now... I like both colors in any case...  :D

On the color question, I believe the Ghia was repainted in its restoration, and I don't think that Sea Green color was a stock VW color. I remember a light blue, but not this aquamarine color. It was pure chance that I saw the car shortly after receiving the bass from Bob Young. Saw it parked at a local doggie park, found the owner, and arranged the photo session.

It's easier to find a photo companion if your Ric is JetGlo.
