Motorhead - Sacrifice

Looks a bit like a 4002 but I am not sure.

Nope......looks like a custom 4002-ish pickguard. It has traditional 4001/4003 inlays and the neck pickup is in the wrong place for a 4002 but right for a 4001/4003.

A pretty unlistenable Motorhead song BTW (IMO) and an even worse video. :(

It's one of the few post-1916 era songs that I actually like, mainly because of Mikkey's drum line.

I find Motorhead hard to listen to ...

I like Lemmy better with Hawkwind ...

This forum has shown that Motorhead is one of those polarizing bands that you either love or hate. You love, I hate - that's the cool thing about art is that it speaks to different people. That's why I said "in my opinion", no factual basis at all really.

BTW, Robben Ford and the Blue Line or Larry Carlton (both currently on tour together and highly recomended) are my favoirtie acts. Rickenbacker-wise, I'm probably in the Rush camp, although Geddy's voice is another of those polarizing topics. I think McCartney could have used anything, and did, to acheive the same end. He was all about songwriting and the guitar was just a tool.

Anyways now back to the thread topic. I agree, not a 4002 but a modified 4001.
