325c58!
So I got my 325c58 today and all I can say is wow, it's stunning! It's an '02 model from the bay, but there isn't a scratch on it. The scale length is very comfortable, and I like the neck profile a lot. The alder top and back are very nice, but the amazing wood grain on the sides of the body was unexpected, it's incredible! I'll try to get some photos of that up tomorrow, but until then here's a couple for you.

Wes, congrats, she looks beautiful! Are those T-Is already strung on? Great strings....

Nice one there. That is really good looking and the Lennonization is great. That's awesome that it came that way from the 'bay.

I've never tried the 13s, I might give them a go at some point. I use their 12s on my short scales, 10s on the Casino, and 11s on the J-160.

TI Jazz Swing flats are whoopee...
Re: 325c58!
You can see the crazy grain on the sides of the guitar in this photo.
Re: 325c58!
Are you talking about the tiger striping up near the strap button? One of my MGs has the same thing closer to the neck joint--at first I thought it was finish cracks , scared the **** out of me!
Mapleglo is a really great finish for reasons just like this....

I just like how the grain goes one way on the inside of the top horn, and the other way on the bottom horn, it looks really nice. You can see how the grain continues down the side as well. I've never seen alder this good looking before. I prefer natural finished guitars, opaque finishes cover up all that good wood!
Re: 325c58!
Holy Moly - that's shweet.
Re: 325c58!
Wes: Outstanding photos. Thanks for these and congratulations. I appreciate the fine grain analysis.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
