We've seen this before once. Ken S had an '84 or '85 4003S JG a few years back that had "Made in the USA" written upside down. I think it was just a goofy batch of legit RIC TRC's.

And Ken's TRC was black as well, so the goofy batch was probably much smaller than a batch of white TRC's.

That and the model number was stamped on after they were made. Mistakes happen.

That's a good deal on a black TRC. Don't see too many of these on eBay. I've seen white ones selling for more.
