Ridiculous. There should be a statute of limitations on that.Fisher filed his claim to joint ownership nearly 40 years after the song was recorded in 1967.

Common sense prevailed obviously. Since when does an arrangement become the basis of a songwriter credit? If this case had gone the other way in terms of a judgement, imagine what the former pianist and road manager's estate could elicit from the Rolling Stones. Ian Stewart contributed a lot to their sound and their arrangements.
