20.75" scale, like all Rick shorties.

I don't think anyone has the exact numbers on these, either the originals or the reissues...

LOL...Tony beat me to it. But along those lines, the registry here shows 14 1996s, 5 vintage and 9 reissue. Hardly definitive, but something to start with. You could change your post to ask folks here and on the Ric site to own up if they have one.

He must be a forum member. It looks like he's got a RickResource calender on the wall. Nice job on both songs.

I have one of the reissues, too. It was delivered 6 months after I placed my order!

Indeed. I ordered it the day after they were announced at the January NAMM show. I was caught off guard. I figured I had at least a year and half to wait.

I was lucky! I ordered two before NAMM and they both arrived in late-March 2006. They had October 2005 serial numbers and one was the actual NAMM display guitar.

I paid 2G total. I put a $200 deposit to order it and paid the rest when the dealer got it. I ordered it on Jan 23, 2006 and it arrived 8-23-06. So I lied earlier, it was actually 7 months delivery time. Nevertheless, it came a heckuva lot quicker than I'd ever imagined. I waited over 2 yrs for a c58.

Mine came relatively quickly too...I want to say about 7 months, I can't recall exactly. I know it was well inside a year. Gary's site says he's still taking deposits on 1996s he already has on order, so perhaps the wait won't be very long at all.
