I'm not a fan of the sticker. It looks like a sticker (duh) for one thing. It doesn't enhance the beauty of the instrument...to me, it detracts from it. It also strikes me as an unnecessary element, unless people are concerned their beautiful work of craftsmanship may actually have been made with inferior parts in RIC's Japanese facility. Perhaps it's there merely for patriotic reasons...which is fine. I'm naturally patriotic, but I never did wear the little lapel flag.
But it seems to me that the sticker won't last nearly as long as what it's stuck on, so I'd remove it right away. In forty years the guitar will look stately and dignified in it's old age...but will that sticker show its age as well?

Besides, it says "Made In USA" on the TRC anyway. It's redundant.

those i play on a regular basis are sticker free - that one was to replace the peeling sticker on one of my investement/collector basses.janglerocker wrote:I think this question has been pondered in other threads. For me they come off as soon as I get around to it. The most recent went to a forumite in Canada. To each his own, I guess.

My favorite thing is to take them off the pickguard and affix them to my comically large forehead and then decoupage my head.
