Hey Jeff, now I understand your passion for the S/5! My JG/BT arrived Friday morning and I finally opened it this morning. Painfully adhering to the 48hr rule. It’s been averaging somewhere around 18 degrees here in the North East. This is one hell of a bass! I am perfectly fine with the string spacing (I sure you’re not happy to hear that) I mainly play with a pick so the spacing works out fine. I can see needing to make an adjustment for plucking however. Pics to come later today! Another Rick to the collection! And love that new Rickensmell!

And by the way, it's staying BEADG
cheers

Cool, and hot!
Is the B string balanced with the other four, or does it tend to blow the speaker cone out of the cabinet? Just curious.

A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

Just gorgeous Andy.
