I notice that Neil Peart's name is starting to be mentioned a lot. He is an incredible drummer and what is noteworthy is that he is listed in many drummer polls very near the top if not at the top. It makes me proud that a Canadian is so highly regarded.

Ginger Baker, number one, look at the Cream Reunion dvd. What as he been doing all these years ? Moon # two, he had power, style, and he enjoyed himself on stage [and off]. Carmine Appice, this guy is the journeyman drummer's drummer.

Phil is no slouch on the drums. I have always liked him as a drummer, a singer and as a person. Genesis: Love 'em. Enough said. Bill Bruford was in my original list. Again enough said.

I saw Cobham in '72 with the original MO. They opened for Zappa and the MOI with George Duke and Jean Luc Ponty on board!
