The wavy head Ric 4008 makes a a brief appearance in the DVD "The Who - 30 Years of Maximum R&B Live" you can see it off in the back ground & then the back of the neck/headstock when the Ox is trying to use it but can't because the of someting to do w/ the PA board, bet it was because of the Ric-O-Sound,

Yes, the Peter Cook guitar shop in Hanwell used to be run by Peter Cook (of Entwhistle fame), he had a workshop upstairs for many years, and a damn good guitar shop on the ground floor. Peter left in the 1980s, and the shop started moving more towards "box shifting", now they only sell new guitars, mostly mail order. No secondhand or repairs anymore, pain in the ***! I sold them my 4001 mapleglo (checkers/toaster/crushed glass) in the late 1980s, and would LOVE to know who bought it, and can I have it back please? tatty 4001 in maple, extra hole drilled in scratchplate, outline of a star on the top horn, and a replaced bridge pickup assembly, whos got it now?
