Ahhh, the 21-fretter! She's a beauty Bob! Nice pictures too. You gotta hold on to that one.

I bought it from the original owner in '94. He worked in the studio we were recording in - he bought it in high school and gigged it for a few years, then kind of morphed into a keyboard player. My camera doesn't do macro so I couldn't get a closeup of the frets, but they're really pretty good.

Bob,

Vry nice - I have a late 71 or early 72 that looks a lot like yours (fireglo / walnut wings / no stripe)
-right down to the mix/match grovers

I don't have any extra frets or anything - not like i'd use 'em.

Nice, Bob. Thanks for the pics. Beautiful bass.

Switch looks like a replacement to me. And what's the green stuff on the back of the switch and wiring? :? Kinda looks like chewing gum! :)

Ditto my Feb 72, although mine's much darker fireglo.

I feels like some sort of soft putty. The switch works OK, so I've left well enough alone.

Wow,

VERY SWEET!

I got shafted on my March '71, no extra fret. :(
