Great! A 21 fretter exactly like mine - down to that pinkish hue to the finish! Welcome to the 21 fret 4001 owners club, Bob.

I didn't photograph it, but it's in the original case, I've got the PU cover, and the original 1-sheet trussrod adjustment instructions.

Very nice, Bob! I had mine out all day yesterday and love it! If mine hadn't been oversprayed on the neck and back it would have very similar finish wear.

A scan posted here would be cool! If possible and time permits.bnyswonger wrote:I've got the PU cover, and the original 1-sheet trussrod adjustment instructions.

I'm starting to think I should up my insurance on this thing. Should I post it over at the appraisal section? I would need some ducumentation of value, but an opinion there might be acceptable.

It is a rare bass, with some very desirable features, Bob.
Up the insurance and keep that baby!

I don't have a clue. The original owner didn't say anything about changing it, but it's certainly possible.brycycle wrote:Bob, (or whomever) - is that pick-up selector switch original? reference Bob's photo #: 744800174b05442 thanks-
It does work fine.

Re: Some Pics of my '71 FG
I thought that would be something fairly common here! I remember getting one with my first JG in '72 - same sheet. I'll have to bring it into work to scan it - will try to this week.
