I used D'Addario Chromes with great results on my Ci. Just for simplicity, order a new nut from one of the vendors to modify......that way if you need to swap back and forth every now and then to standard tuning it only takes a few seconds longer than a string change.johnallg wrote:Okay, you guys have convinced me - I am going to string my 4004C BEAD. Now to decide - flats or rounds? All input welcome.

Thanks Brian - I already have Chromes on it in standard EADG so know the tone. I also have a spare RIC nut I can open up so thanks for that great idea, no matter the strings.incubus2432 wrote:I used D'Addario Chromes with great results on my Ci.
