How Are Rickenbackers Made?

Perhaps we don't want to become too analytical here, however, the body shape of the Model 4005 may harken back to the earliest times and the most basic of features.
While it may not rival artifacts on Easter Island, it does offer an image that some would maintain is consistent with the hormonally driven. This would make an interesting article. Why are some guitar shapes more appealing than others?

Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

My favorite Rickenbacker shape is the 4000 series bass body, sexy curves, just like a pretty lady....(no analysis on that please) And bass players are usually the cool ones... guitar players are the ones that always feel inadequate, you know shorter guitar neck and all... Sigmund Freud was taken way too seriously.
This is getting interesting...
What is my favourite Rickenbacker shape? The 4001 bass, definitely. Why? It's (perennially) ultra-fashionable, a true design masterpiece. No other brand comes close. If I compare most bass models of other brands to the 4001, I find they are best described as being 'vile-shaped'/'tragically unfashionable' or as having 'uncommercial styling'. Not to offend anyone, but even the 3000/3001 model is dangerously close to falling into one of the above categories.

A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

My favorite Rickenbacker shape is the 4001/3 body and headstock combination. Whatever was in the water when they designed that bass, the results were absolutely classic, otherworldly and just plain cool! And the bass itself is sonic viagra baby, yeah!!!
