flat wound bass string of about .130 diameter? I was just looking for a D'Addario Chrome flat wound and they offer a CB132 that sells for $18.95 - for just the ONE string! I want to string my Chromed 4004C BEAD but don't want to take out a loan just to try that. If I need to, I suppose I will get the 5 string set and keep the other 4 as a fresh set....

Elderly seems to have the cheapest D'Addario set prices I could find.

Anyone?

You may need a 5-er set anyway......depending on how you cut your strings when you install the "E" might be too short to reach it's new tuner. Just a thought....

Brian, I never thought of that, but you're right. I'd maybe get a turn out of moving it to the normal A post. Guess its time to order...
