Needing 4001 bits.....

Post by cabsav »

hey all.
well, the old 4001 i was looking at ran away before i could grab it, and now an all black item has turned up. i really like the look of the white on black, though. can anyone help me with a white pickguard and trussrod cover? any ideas on where to look or price? thanks in advance~

Hm... An all black item? I'm curious, Jonathan. Are we talking about a 70's 4001?
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

no, it's an '81. not quite what i want, as it has the thin binding on the body as opposed to the regular binding. but, i need/want one soon, the price seems right, condition good, and my problems with it are purely cosmetic, so i figure i'll pick it up

THe TRC might be the problem.

You gotta turn in an old one to get a new one. Unless of course there is none.
Buy it before someone else does
