more noticeable when you see it on a bass, but I wouldn't lose sleep over a little thing like that. the PG on the 21 fretter doesn't follow the body shape exactly either, but we get by... one day at a time.

You think its no big deal now, but over time it will start to eat at you. Now that someone pointed it out, you'll never not see it again!

See? I told you so! This forum has a way of doing that to you.

Somebody whines about body horns being too big, and then everyone takes notice...suddenly fat horn basses decrease in value!!

jeez... I really hate those 330/12's.

They are such a waste... you see that one little detail that makes them completely worthless? yeah. I hate that.

...and now I play the waiting game....

You know. that one terrible detail that makes them completely worthless to the average player and collector... the one thing that will make people throw them on eBay and set very very low BIN prices....

And the rest of us. C'mon, spit it out, be specific. What don't you like about the 330 12s? :? :? :?

There's no need to be bashful. Everyone who's read any number of my posts knows that to my eye, a 330 looks like it's missing something, or more specifically, looks like an unfinished WB model- it's just a matter of personal preference. You aren't going to hurt anyone's feelings or anything by spelling it out. :D

Didn't Larry Flint create Honey-glo?

I believe Nick is using reverse psychology of a sort. He's looking to pick up a 330 cheap. Smart move, Nick!

As to the hump, the humpless guard just looks so much more graceful in the way it follows the body edge lines. Now I have to go look at my guards!

[EDIT] Interestingly, the C64 guard from RIC does not have the hump - on my '04 4003.

C64 and v63 guards are exact replicas of the 60's full-coverage guards, and have evaded the hump.
