I've nad to switch to strictly dry red wine for a while now. But still no merlot!!

I've always understood a bowed neck to mean the center of the neck is further from the strings then the headstock or body of the instrument. So it looks like an old longbow of Sherwood Forest fame. Back bow would be the center of the neck being closer to the strings than the ends.
