Jeff, RIC closed down their acoustic shop in late summer of 2006. At that time I acquired the license to handbuild the Rick acoustics in my own shop, using the same specifications, methods and even the wood which RIC had stored for acoustic construction.

A number of Forumites and one dealer (Mike Parks) have ordered Rickenbacker acoustics from me, and about ten have been delivered so far.

Do you use one of those rolling "torture device"(Kenny Howes) rolling, wheel-shaped,pipe clamp trolley setups for holding mulitple acoustic bodies in place while they're being glued like RIC has? :D That thing is cool! What a gadget!

No. I only glue up one at a time, and in my small space devoted to assembly of acoustic bodies there's no room for something that big.
