I know I can't hang with these price tags, I just sit back and watch. I need stuff I can take out every weekend and PLAY, not something I drop $7500 on.

Luckily for me my CS gets played out all the time, but it thankfully only cost me less than half of that amount.

Well, there's already a thread about the 4002, and there seems to be a CS on eBay at all times, so that's no big shocker.

I would agree that the CS is way overpriced for the amount of them floating around out there. Of course, CS owners would heartily disagree with me. :)

YES, I would John!

I hate to say it, but I turned down TWICE the price of the one on Ebay for mine. But, in all honestly, there is a HUGE investment of sentimental value in mine.....and Janey STOLE if for me in 1995.

Wow, really Tony? But that could have gotten you at least halfway to a new kitchen!

Good on ya for sticking with it. I wouldn't part with my v68 either.

There's a double bound 4005 too for around $17K.

I'd like all of them, but there's no way I'd ever pay those amounts for them. I could buy 10 or more 4001's for all that cash....

Don't even GO THERE John! LOL....I'm really starting to HATE going to Home Depot.....EVERY time I need anything from that place....Janey asks to go along and I ALWAYS find her in the kitchen department.

That one (the 4005WB) looks as though its had a serious relic-ing by the guys over at Fender.

I'm shocked and amazed at the asking price. But if anybody could get that for it, it would be Olivia's!
