Bruce Springsteen, Roger McGuinn, and a 660/12??

Post by tennis_nick »

Roger Joined Bruce on stage for a song at a concert not long ago, and I guess he either borrowed a guitar or has a stash of Ricks we don't know about, but he's seen playing a 660/12. quality of the vid isn't great, but you can clearly see the cresting wave at 2:41 in the video.

Little Steven is actually playing his Jetglo 660/12 in that video as well!

I can really hear the tonal difference between the guitar Roger's playing here and one of his 370/12's, for instance - I have to chalk it up to the solid body, as it sounds just like my 660/12 here. Could be roundwound strings too? It's very bright.

So he is! I get too dizzy watching that video - first time through it I saw the instrument and knew Little Steven had one, and stopped. I fastened my seatbelt, took my dramamine, and watched it through this time.

Googling on how to spell dramamine, I found this. Never heard or though of something like that. Sounds like a lot of fun.... NOT!
