You're going to need it if you want to buy a mid-70's 4001 from Guitar Center in Hollywood. They had three at that price. Another, with no TRC, and looked like somebody made a channel to try and bind the headstock, over 2K.

Remember those "gcrep" eBay auctions from two years ago? Asking prices are one thing, actually getting them is another.

For that kind of money you should get 4 4001 basses!!!
