Mix CD Club: Come, Join Us

I posted this in the "Others" section of the forum and didn't get as much response as I had hoped, and another member recommended that I post it in some other sections of the forum. As of now, there are 6 people interested. So, here is the link to the original thread:

Hello to all. I'm looking for 11 people to start a Mix CD club with.

If you're are interested, this is how it works:

Each club member will be assigned one month in the calender year. When your month rolls around, it will be your responsibility to compile a mix CD to send out to each of the other members.

There are no limits to what you can put on the mix. You can put on new music you'd like to share, old favorites, obscure or live tracks, or anything you like. Just make sure you fill it up.

You should make a cover with full track listing, package it, and send a copy out to each of the other 11 members by the 15th of your assigned month. If you can't commit to this, don't bother joining. Also, you need to be open to hearing new and different music.

If you're interested in joining, contact me here on the forum or via email at [email protected]. I'll coordinate the whole thing and assign months. When you contact me, send me your name and mailing address and I'll compile a list to send out to all the members. The first 11 responses I receive will be in the club. If I get enough response for multiple clubs, I'll put a couple together. Can't wait to hear from you.

Alright, got 2 more overnight. We just need 4 more people for a full year.

Well my CD is almost done. Listening to it right now to see how the flow is, but if I'm in I'm ready. I think it'll have to be toyed with a lil bit.

We still need 3 more to have a full year, but tomorrow I will go ahead and gather everybody's info and compile a list. I'll probably do the first mix, so noone has to feel rushed. So, tomorrow everyone should be hearing from with a list of addresses and month assignments. Anyone that is still interested in joining, please contact me and I'll add you. More people can be added at any time, so don't be shy.
