So today, was "get that other bulb working" day. I needed to rebuild a broken socket. Here's how it went...................

Then removed the top clear acrylic....................followed by the thin diffuser material....................

That left the pots ..........hanging................you can see the heat sink? metal plate at the top of the picture which needs to be moved in order to remove the circuit board easily................

Whilst I was in there, I checked out the top board which all seemed OK................

I removed the screw bolts which hold the heat sink in place, in order to slide it across out of the way of the lower circuit board....................

The previous owner had labelled all of the wires and corresponding sockets on the circuit boards , which made the job a whole lot easier!..................my advice.......if it hasn't been done already........DO IT!!!

Then I removed the input jacks...............

This allowed the wiring harness to be moved out of the way of the circuit board...................

Now the harness was out of the way, I unclipped a few more wires, again wires and sockets were marked..................... Then I removed the circuit board. Note the heat sink is now out of the way of the circuit board................................
