The robot I put on ebay sold in about 6 hours for a pretty sweet deal.

They haven't shown collectible value yet. Time will tell. My bet is still no.

The only reason they are going high is perceived value, and lack of people doing their homework. They can be had at $2100-2200 from retail stores.


4000 is a big number
Les Paul Studios have never been a big deal
The color is not that unique
Electronics die quickly in value.

Give it 6 months, a year, 5 years before we can say they are an investment. Actually, from my experience in the collectibles market, one usually has to et a generation pass by to truly tell.
