NEW GUITAR DESIGN FROM ROUGH SKETCH!

Post by jingle_jangle »

Doesn't have much in common with a Rick, though. Well, it has a neck, a body. knob, strings, etc...Shows the tragedy of literal interpretation.

...and a lovely Blackburst finish! Blackburst singing in the dead of night...

hmm..similar idea to what a hot young group of Swedish designers did for a recent furniture line (they are all about 'process' in generating form).

i use the word "hot"as they are generating a fair bit of buzz - and because they are all attractive young Swedish females...

Wow. I just got that link last week from an ex-student (now furniture designer, though for a Korean firm)...this kind of stuff is the elegant and imaginative part of Youtube...definitely setting the bar up pretty high.

i had the pleasure of seeing their work at the Droog gallery in Amsterdam. also of interest are their works created through the interventions of living creatures (mouse wall paper, termite table).
