660 tailpeice on a 620???
So, I was thinking today that I might put a 660 tailpeice on my 620. Would I bring down the value of the guitar? I know I would have to put some extra holes in it, but from what I understand, they'd be covered by the tailpeice. I just want to be able to easily intonate my guitar. Suggestions? Pros? Cons? Anyone?
Thanks
Thanks

It won't make a difference regarding intonation adjustment but the trapeze will make restringing easier.

I thought the 660 tailpeice would leave more room for an alan wrench to get to the bridge?

Get yourself a ball-end allen wrench. Makes it much easier to get to the intonation screws.

'Their' doesn't conform to the rules because it is the third person possessive adjective which comes from the third person plural pronoun 'they'.
(Now ducking for cover).

Hey Nathan, check out this thread...

The trapeze bracket is much wider than the "R" bracket, so if you drill holes they will be visible if you put the "R" back on. The best solution if you want to be able to switch back is to NOT drill holes, and put felt pads on the back of the trapeze bracket so it won't scratch up the finish. The strap button is strong enough to hold the trapeze on the guitar by itself.

Thanks for the advice Daniel. Thats what was looking for. I will have more space between the tailpiece and the bridge with the switch, right?
How about the word "streinge"?
