Charlie Musselwhite is such a tasty player and always has been. That Stand Back! Here Comes Charlie Musselwhite's Southside Band recording is a must have if you're into the '60s Blues Revival. I always kinda liked this record better than East-West by the Butterfield Band from a year earlier. Granted Butter's had Elvin Bishop and Mike Bloomfield as well as Sam Lay on drums but Charile had the Chicago drummer in my book - Freddie Below - and Harvey Mandel on guitar.

Musselwhite's '90s recordings as pretty nice, too.
