Garry Patterson, were you thinking of something maybe a little like this?

Well, if Gary wasn't I was...or maybe a 6200 bass. Love the Lennon Bass look, especially if it was neck through/longscale. dm

My 4001/4000 restoration-conversion project is moving along very nicely, pics coming soon.

Right now I just hope I get the 4004Cii5 in 2004 that I ordered in October of last year...but I'd place my order today for a reissue of the 4002 especially if it was done in a 5 string version preferably jet glo, Montezuma Brown would look cool too, ebony fingerboard with triangle inlays checkered binding...
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

I think I want another one of these basses ... they have a nice 4001/4003 sound with quieter electronics and a really sweet neck ... a real treble bite with a full bass sound ...
