Porcupine Tree

Post by rickenbrother »

Porcupine Tree is a must listen for people who are fans of Pink Floyd and Rush. Fans of The Beatles, Tool and Radiohead would most likely appreciate them very much also. Their music is all over the place, from trippy like Pink Floyd to metal. Unfortunately I have never seen them use a Rick yet. Enjoy! :D

Joey,

Wow! They are amazing. The pity is that I have never heard about them until now.

Thanks very much for posting these videos. Do you have any other bands like this hiding in plain view? Seriously though, I look forward to more informative posts like this from you. You have impeccable taste in music.

Thanks for the compliment, Brian. I admire your taste in music also. I also appreciate your open mindedness for something new. It seems so far that we are the only ones here impressed with Porcupine Tree.

I'll turn you on to other bands also!

Now don't jump the gun yet Joey! LoL!

I DID buy that cd from Porcupine Tree that you suggested......I FORGOT I HAD IT! Sad, huh?

I dug it out today and gave it a good listen.

They sure do run the gambit and it is one of the few new bands I really liked.

Kudo's Joey, "U DA MAN"!

Tony, they aren't new, really. "On The Sunday Of Life" was their first release in 1991.
