Very nice John.

This bass certainly looks better than the old version!

I'd like to see the neck profile side on if you get the chance, just to see how it compares to my 67 and 68. There's no "beef" at the back of my 67 at the nut, but the 68 doe shave that little extra.

What was the serial # on this again?

Enjoy!

Thanks John, nice profiles...

My 67 has the same flatter neck profile as the blue bass at the bottom. What is that one BTW?

The 69 looks just like mine, with more wood, and my Dec 68 is the same as well...

Congrats! That one is like the girl no one asked to the prom, and then a summer later she shows up looking hot! :)
Beautiful bass!

Many thanks every one :D
It just goes to show that if you can see
the big picture, you can manifest your dream.

Andy, the SN is IB***(I can't remember the numbers and she's asleep....)
The blue bass you asked about is another resurrection. Remember
the 73 at Rockin' Daddy's that had a shot neck. I bought it for parts
and when I discovered that it had CB, I re-necked it with the style
of my choice. Saved the board and put full widthies on it....
Came out rather nicely....

You're not talking about that half-Azureglo from the early 70's, are you John?

Mine's IB160..

The half-a-bass is still on my shelf awaiting a new neck...
It's Dec 72...
I still wonder who the heck sawed off the neck...

The one from Rockin Daddy's was/is a late June of 73(MF).
I chose not to salvage the existing neck because it had the new A tuner
placement. The crude JG was rolled on over BG....

More pix-a-comin'

If I can ever find my camera cable, I'll get some updated pix on here showing the "4001S" conversion! :)

That's what I'm waiting to see!

When I lost my camera cable, I found I could replace it for $40 or get a multi-card reader from Sam's Club for $15. It was a no-brainer. Best part is the interface cable for the reader fits my cell phone so I can change files on that.
