That's okay Jeff. I'm not here in SoCal forever(though I was born here and have lots of cool memories from the 60's) and I'd rather have my Rickys and other music gear than a lawn to mow.

The BIG question is.... When everyone in the US gets their tax bonus will the price of Ricks go up?

I couldn't agree with you more, Dane. I love Chicago, but the weather is just brutal here for 6 months out of the year. I'd trade weather with you in a heartbeat!

And just the thought of some careless, irresponsible buffoon somewhere in Southern California laying around on a hammock next year on a nice 75 degree day in February, sipping an ice cold Coronita while the Fed makes me pay his 1.3 million dollar mortgage (as I freeze my @$$ off in Chicago!) really irritates me.

So you think it's fair that a millionaire pays 300,000 in taxes and someone making 200,000 a year pays 60,000? You think perhaps the millionaire is perhaps just a little better off with his 700,000 than the guy who makes 200,000 is with his 140,00?
What about someone who makes 10,000.00, should they pay 3000.00?

Bob, are you saying it's not fair that people pay (about) 1/3 of their income as taxes? If the millionaire makes more $$ he should keep more. The person bagging groceries is not going to make as much as the owner of the grocer. The owner should pay more because (about) 1/3 of his/her pay would be greater.

We have a progressive tax in the USA. You are not taxed on your first so many thousand, then you get taxed on the next tier, and a little more on the next, and even more on the next. If you make enough they can tax almost half of what you make.

The guy making more money is likely to buy more Ricks! That will always boost the economy, giving RIC more money to buy more machines to make more guitars to sell more guitars to hire more people to make more guitars...

 I don't understand that discussion about taxes??? I would love to pay the highest tax in the world  , as this would also mean I have the highest income!
