Chris and Lakland

Post by jps »

There is a prominent use of a Lakland Bob Glaub Bass by our dear Chris Squire in Yesspeak! Now let's not all run out and get one please!

BTW, if you do make it Inca Silver with a white pickgaurd!

Looks green to me, but I believe that is what they call that color on their website. I think he got that bass before they started recording Magnification, I seem to remember seeing pics of him playing it. And when I saw Yes last summer, he played it on the one Magnification cut they played at that concert. I wouldn't mind having a Bob Glaub P bass like that one, I used to play one(a Fender P, that is) in a blues band I was in back in the early '80s...

What I find interesting is that in Chris' section of www.yesworld.com the bass is described as a Joe Osborn Signature Series bass! Can't they tell the difference between a P Bass and a Jazz Bass?

They described it correctly on Chris Squire's site back when he began using it...
