Another dream come true ... my new 330/12 JG

Post by ricardo_vicente »

As a young lad I always dreamed of owning my own Rickenbacker 12 string. When I grew up (well, got older) and finally had the funds, I intially went for a six string (330 FG) in order to get the most use of, what for me was a big investment.
Two years later and I am forunate enough to be able to afford my second Rickenbacker, and make my original dream come true.

This was the magical moment just an hour or so ago when I opened up the case for the first time ...

And here's a few more shots ...

Congratulations, Richard. I love the photos and the look of your Jetglo 330/12. A classic finish. The Invasion continues.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Wow, that's the first time I said "nice pair" and not got smacked by my wife! Seroiusly, though, great guitars and some cool fabric to make a "zoot suit jacket with side vents 5 inches long" out of. Congrats.

Ricardo.....Props to you on your new acquisition. Both of your Rics look sweet against the backdrop of Britannia --- oooo, yeah!

Play on, pick often, jam with Toast(ers)®, and prosper. Best regards.....Goofyfoot.

Just in case anyone was in any doubt as to how great a 330/12 sounds, I knocked up this quick clip. Not so much a song as a little psychedelic interlude. I just had to get this wonderful guitar recorded. There are actually four 330/12 tracks (including the backwards solo) and one 330/6 track.
Man, I love this guitar!
