Will do, Paul. I have a guitar I've been trying to build for myself for some time that I'll probably use it on. I just don't have enough time to indulge myself, so it's always put off. IMO, waterborne finishes will ultimately take over from solvent-based. The finishes that Target sells have been around for some time, and their waterborne lacquer has gone through a number of improvements in the time I've been using it. It's always been good, but their recent iterations have vastly improved the burn-in, which was already good. It's finicky about cure time, though. They say you should be able to wetsand and buff it out after 72 hours, but I've found that it's best to let it hang at least 10 days, and probably two weeks.

Ron, What a beauty! The photos you and Aitch have posted are gorgeous. What a treat to have played a small part in making this happen. I'll look forward one day to playing it myself. Congratulations!!!

Larry, Superb work as usual....
