I Ain't Drunk!

Post by kenposurf »

Before wireless: Albert had the longest guitar cable in the world..had to be custom made. Saw him many times at The Whiskey and he would jump off stage, go out the door and walk 50 feet down Sunset Blvd just playing those stinging licks...he was the greatest..

Musicianship at its finest. That's a great band and I agree that's a great tune.

That'd be Ms. Debbie Davies on guitar. I recall seeing this same line-up with John Lee Hooker and the Fabulous Thunderbirds w/ Jimmie Vaughan back around '90. You had to be a pretty special player to be in "The Ice Man's" band and she certainly is that. She's held her own with some of the "big boys" and is the best of all the female electric Blues players , IMHO.

There's a reason that Collins was called "The Master of the Telecaster"......^^^^^^
