Thanks everyone. I am still try to get things right with the digital camera I purchased last year. It's not quite the same as my old 35mm.

Cannon digital Elph. I can't remember the exact model, possibly a SD 700 or 730. I will look when I get home tonight.

Jeff it is a SD700 IS. The thing I miss with this is the abilty to manipulate the aperture and shutter speed in order to control the depth of field. Plus I still am not used to the screen as opposed to a view finder. I will welcome any advice you are willing to give.

We will do the camera thing; Paul Boyer is also a great photographer and could certainly help out I think. :D
